Gerard has experienced personal transformation more than once in his life journey. He's swapped the ex-pat lifestyle for Royal Marine training, stepped up to become an elite operator, and transitioned from the military to the business world.
Service
In 2012 Gerard received the Military Cross, granted in recognition 'for acts of exemplary gallantry during active operations.'
Background
He grew up in southern England and studied photography before working with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Africa.

He provides expert leadership consultancy to business founders and leaders, using years of high-level military and mindset training to help organisations reinvent their workplace culture and create self-managing teams so talented founders can spend more time innovating.
Background
Whilst working with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in tropical Africa, a chance opportunity to assist Royal Navy deployments in the region led to Gerard's first encounter with the Royal Marines.

This laid the foundation for a decorated 16-year military vocation.
​
Gerard chose to test himself against a notoriously rigorous testing procedure and successfully passed the selection process, achieving a coveted place within a British specialist military unit.
​
Operating on behalf of the UK Government in the highest level of the British military, Gerard became a highly skilled practitioner. Eventually he was called upon to become a mentor, a leader, and a teacher across his thriving professional., and personal lives.
